And now we get to meet a Seahawk that you're getting to know for the first time.

It's certainly our first time getting to chat with you.

He is Avery Smith, acquired via trade, former quarterback turned corner.

Walk us through, by the way, Seahawks.

It feels like it now because you've got injuries.

But when everybody's healthy, as he just talked about, when you've got Eamon Worry back and when you've already got Trayvon Diggs, you traded for Avery Smith, maybe he's just depth.

I don't know what they think of him.

And you've got Terryon Arnold at some point.

Right.

Sometimes the number doesn't, you know, tell the story.

But I feel like they've done enough because and I'm very fascinated by the Avery Smith move.

Coaches have talked him up for a couple of years, but we don't know until we see it.

The young guy, Julian Neal, Avery Smith's only been with the team for like a week, probably hasn't even unpacked all his suitcases yet.

How deep into the game did it take you to just forget about all of that? Because it just kind of played out and it seemed pretty early on that like, okay, this is fine.

Yeah, fairly early on, I'd probably say maybe like late second quarter is where it started to kind of settle a little bit.

... season activation [laughs] potentially because Nehemiah Pritchett was just fine on his own, right? Like, he absolutely can play, and Avery Smith was quite good on the, you know, um, playing a little bit in the special teams department.

I think he does add some value there for sure.

Um, but you know, the one thing I look at this is, again, you see the depth of this team, and that's the one thing that I think John Schneider has done so much better this time around, is truly build the depth of this roster where they can absorb some of these guys not being able to go because of the fact you've spread out the wealth so much.

Yeah, and I think he's been massively beneficial from it.

That's part of the thing when you trade for these players, you immediately went on to the 53.
