Okay guys, it's time we put the Michigan game in the past. With New Mexico coming to Norman on Saturday, the Sooners better be ready for a punch. With Trell Harris and multiple others dealing with…
Eddie RadosevichHostspeaker_6speaker_3speaker_14speaker_8speaker_15Well, and I know a lot of people want to jump to the Georgia and Texas game, and I get that because they wonder, okay, is this team going to be able to respond and get back to playing good football? And can they beat teams like Georgia and Texas, teams that we thought, oh, you could compete with before they lost to Michigan? But it really starts this week.
And, again, I know it's New Mexico, but just getting back on the right track, like I said earlier in the week, but getting John Mateer some confidence, I think that's the number one thing you can do If you're Oklahoma is try to get him going, get Ben Arbuckle, you know, back to working on what they were doing all off season, you know, run the football, turn around and hand the ball off and maybe get something out of some of these running backs.
Let one of the running backs get into a rhythm, whether it's a Lloyd Avant or, you know, Jonathan Hatton is a true freshman, a guy that I think could do a lot of really good things for Oklahoma.
And it's, if they're going to go and beat Georgia and Texas, it starts this week in terms of getting bright, and getting back on the field and doing some really good things and not just offensively but defensively the tackling and things of that nature they shouldn't you know allow a ton of big plays from a team like New Mexico so I think as a group I'm sure that they're also itching to get back out there and kind of get back to to playing good football.

Obviously, they did lose Kip Lewis in the first quarter on Saturday against Michigan.

Just from an injury report standpoint, let's take a deep breath before George says anything.
Oklahoma? Yeah, let me run through these, Eddie, because I put something up on Soonerscoop.com a while ago.
He got his first snaps of the season last week, but I think he got, what, one carry? Yeah.
I think they've been kind of resting him, getting him back into game shape and all of that.
