Joey SchroederHostYeah, disappointing, right? I think today was super, super, super gut-wrenching.
And I know we don't want to spend an hour today, hour and a half, talking about this stuff, so we want to keep it short and sweet.
But for me today, the most disappointing part of the game is just feeling like it's the same thing all over again, if that makes sense, right? We had so much hope.
from last week, from week one.
But when you look at the standings in the NFL, the Texans are 0-3, the Bucks are 0-3, or either of them any good, right? Like we dominated games that now looking back, we should dominate, right? And then today you look at a team who has been really poor offensively for like two to three years, four years, five years.
I mean, and they looked like an all-pro offense against our defense that was supposed to be much improved.
But I think the main takeaway for me today is just simply put, feeling once again, a lack of confidence in the head coach, a lack of confidence in the coaching staff, just a lack of confidence in the preparedness.
week to week and just feeling like we we just we don't ever win that battle.
Right.
Like we can talk about the quarterback.
We can talk about the defense.
We can talk about offensive line.
But like we never win the battle that I think matters a lot in the NFL, which is which is the head coach.
And so that is what is the most disappointing part for me.
It's gut wrenching because it feels like I'm not saying like the season's over by any means.
It's week three.
Right.
We're not going to like throw in the towel.
But any of us in here that have watched this before know The one thing I've said, the one thing you guys have said, the one thing we always talk about is, is this coaching staff good enough to win the whole thing? That should be the goal, right? Like Burrow's gotten to the Super Bowl.
So that's obviously the goal as the franchise right now.
It's the reason you go out and get Boye Amafe and Brian Cook and fill those gaps.
But the reality is, boys, and I hate to say this, the head coach is still the same.
