But any final thoughts or thoughts that John, Matt, or Kirby have about the game? Or Mark, anything after getting more time to digest it?
I think it was you who said, like, when it was obvious pass rushing situations – That's when you could tell the skill of our D-line and the jump we've made, because the Texans' line is trying to prepare their best for a defensive rush situation, a different defensive pass rush, and they could not stop our defense.
Towards the end of the game, when they were in passing situations, we were gaining the quarterback, we were being disruptive.
Third and fourth down, Texans were a combined five of 21.
That is like unbelievably low over the course of the entire season last year.
I don't think a single team finished under 34% on third down conversion.
So we did a great job in those situations.
I love the heavy personnel usage.
Even though I know it was skewed heavy run, I think we had 24% passes under 24 runs under center compared to only four passes and vice versa out of the gun.
But it worked for us.
I mean, Chase Brown was efficient, had 20 rushes, had four yards per carry, did what he needed to do.
I think everything that I'm seeing from our defense and for the first time in a long time, we can say this going into an AFC North matchup.
I am ecstatic to see our defense line up against the Steelers.
I think we are a perfect matchup against them, but I'll keep it on the Texans for now.
Yeah, I guess little Texans talk.
Dude, you guys giving Mims his roses on that was huge.
If you look at what his stats are currently, and I know O-line stats are kind of, they're not the most objective stat you can find.
But he's performing top of the league right now.
So I'm excited to kind of see what he does.
And there's a huge matchup, which we'll preview here in a little bit.
We're going into...
the Steelers game, but him getting roses.
And also you guys talked about it earlier, but like everybody thought this was going to be like, Oh, offensive challenge, you know, is our O-line going to be able to withstand someone brought up? No, it's a D-line game.
