Talks yesterday in the CUPE strike accomplished very little, if anything.

I'm wondering if your support for the union, which has been fairly strong early on, As we get into the seventh week of this strike, is your support for the CUPE members that are picketing long-term care facilities in Nova Scotia, is it starting to wane as conditions get worse inside those homes? 902-405-6000, 1-877-801-8255.

Just chatting with a couple of my colleagues who were in the crowd last night down at Scotiabank Center for the big rock and roll show that took over the friendly confines, as we can call it.

The guess who rocking the town last night, as I understand it, as much as guys in their late 70s can rock the town.

But apparently, by most accounts, pretty good show.

And well attended.

It looked like the pictures I saw, and speaking with my colleagues, looked like there was a lot of people who were there.

And some suggesting that it looked like it was a salad.

If not, it was very close.

So the old guard continues to show up.

I did make the comment that I, and I didn't go, but I saw the pictures of the crowd.

There was a lot of gray hair and bald heads.

But one would expect that to happen, given that it's the guests who have only been around a minute or two.
