Ben SteinerHostYeah, disappointed to see Derek Cornelius forced to leave in an ambulance and halted training and actually halted all media proceedings.
So we didn't scrum the players afterwards and didn't get to speak to Jesse Marsh or really hear anything about what happened in training apart from it was serious and it was going to...
But yeah, disappointing for Derek Cornelius, who honestly has just had such a tough couple of years.
And with an opportunity, it seemed at Marseille, given the injuries that that back line was dealing with, and Bruno Genesio, who obviously loved Jonathan David in his time at Lille, being the manager there, was really hopeful.
then maybe this would be a good time for Derek Cornelius to have a great season at Marseille.
But his Canada camp is over, and we're going to wait and find out and see how long he'll be on.
Yeah, always tough to get injuries like that, especially during a camp.
Obviously, you know, from a Canadian perspective, especially just because there's been so many of these injuries during camp, obviously a lot of it comes down to bad luck, freak accidents.
They've made it very clear that it seems like just something that could have happened.
But it's obviously tough because when you have these runs of injuries, people are always going to point to the outcome versus what's happening.
And when the outcome is that Canadian players continue to suffer injuries at camps, it's just going to hurt the reputation of this Canadian team, whether that's deserved or undeserved.
Teams are going to look like, man i don't know if i want to send players to that camp you know even if it's just for bad luck they're like keep them away i don't want to get my my player player in that so just always tough to see all the injuries especially because yeah that's another another player to add to this list of guys that we're waiting to all be healthy again and play together because it's been so long since we've seen this best canadian 11 all share the field for more than like two minutes

And when you start to look ahead to some of these games as well, like the backline is going to be pretty light at this point.

Luke Dufus-Rolls hasn't played in a little while with the troubles at Real Salt Lake recently.

Where do you see this going, Alex? Because, of course, Joel Waterman also unavailable as he gets life sorted out after his move to Portland as well.
