This Has Niners Fans DIVIDED... | Daily San Francisco 49ers News & Rumors

I've got three guys who raised their stock and three guys who lowered it this game.

And we've got to start with none other than the hero of the game, Grayson Halton, the fourth round rookie defensive tackle, had the best game of his career by far.

And it wasn't just the flashy plays for Halton.

He was very consistently disengaging from linemen.

and making plays for his teammates.

This dude blows up blockers, he gets depth in the backfield, and frankly, he was one of the best players on the field for the 49ers defense in this game.

You could argue that Grayson Halton was the 49ers' best defensive lineman in Week 5.

And if you wanted to argue that, I would not argue against you.

So Grayson Halton has come onto the scene in a big way.

He is elevating his game rapidly.

Far past what I expected from him in his rookie season.

He is balling out right now and I cannot wait to see what he does going forward.

Next up in the stock up category, this feels overdue, right? We're going to give it to him after this game, but really you could argue that he deserved this boost way earlier in the season.

It's Renardo Green.

Renardo Green is the 49ers' best cornerback, and it's not really close.

Renardo Green is playing at a Pro Bowl level this year, genuinely.

He's always been a solid to good press man corner.

He's been that way since he came out of college.

That's always been a part of his skill set.

But this year, he has been excellent in zone coverage.

And I mean excellent.

Excellent.

It was a huge problem last year in that sort of sophomore slump for him.

I mean, we all remember against the Seahawks, him getting benched, pulled to the sideline, ripped into by Kyle Shanahan.

And it was just a really low moment for Renardo Green.
