And so now you have to thrust a guy like Jaden Duggar into it.

You can have Tatum Bethune be active for this game, but you probably need to elevate somebody off the practice squad.

And the 49ers had Jalen Graham.

And of course, Jalen Graham's been in San Francisco for a long time, former draft pick, and he's been good to go for this 49ers football team.

Greenlaw's already out.

You know, I guess they have Tatum Bethune still.

He'll definitely be active this week.

But that's when it can get real scary real fast, and knowing the 49ers' injury situation, that'll probably happen, probably as a guy is getting off the bus, if we know this anytime soon.

Even without Fred Warner.

I think Tatum Bethune was the main linebacker there.

But, and th- this Falcons team is, I would say right now as far as the NFC South teams, I would look to them as probably the most impressive at the moment.

For sure.

I know he's been working on the side field.

You have Tatum Bethune on the 53 that's been a healthy scratch.

Activate him.

All right, well, that replaces one linebacker.

Then you cut Jalen Graham, put him back on the practice squad next week, Dre Greenlaw returns.

There's going to be some roster maneuvering at this linebacker position.

Personally, I don't think it's worth burning an IR spot with Nick Martin because then what do you do the following weeks? Whenever, you, like, you're gonna have Nick Martin and Tatum Bethune be healthy scratches at the linebacker position.

Now, the one caveat is if Luke Gifford's gonna be out a while and Garrett Wallow's gonna be out a while, those are two special team studs, Nick Martin and Tatum Bethune kinda overtake those roles.

And while that metaphor maybe isn't the best application to headbutting a helmetless person [laughs] on the sideline- I do think that does inspire young players.

Grayson Holden, Sebastian Valdez, the secondary, other young linebackers, Jaden Duggar, Tatum Bethune, guys like that that say, you know what? Might be young, inexperienced, in over my head at times playing in Seattle with the 12s around me where you can't hear a single thing, but I'm gonna fricking put my head in the ground and we're gonna play some hard smash mouth football.

And I think the perfect reaction to this, and it really wasn't even a response to Dre Greenlaw and his ejection, but Shannon Sharpe was talking to Bill Romanowski, who used to play for the San Francisco 49ers.

Um, I do have a Romanowski Raiders picture signed somewhere.

They're gonna elevate Tatum Bethune and call it a day.

They are so complementary, the offense, even if the offense does go three and out, which they rarely do, the defense is right there to stiffen up when they need to and hold the other team and give the offense another chance.
