What to you were... was the biggest story for the Week Four slate in college? 'Cause there were a number of games with major playoff implications.
We saw, uh, some very, very intriguing quarterback performances, and of course, we saw one of the top quarterback prospects in Dante Moore go down early in that Oregon-USC game.
Yeah, I would say from, like, a team standpoint, Jake, what, what was interesting to me, I think it's a great reminder, um, you know, for us that cover the sport, how much our sport is one of emotion, and it's one of passion.
Because you go to that Ole Miss-Florida game in particular, and it looked like Ole Miss had their Super Bowl the week before, meaning, "Hey, we're gonna go play, you know, Lane Kiffin," who had left, and they smoked LSU at home.
And then likewise, the night game, you know, LSU is coming off a big loss, and, and they certainly, you know, had home field going for them against, you know, an A&M team that just candidly looked overwhelmed.
Marcell Reed, who a year ago, if we were talking about, you know, potential quarterbacks for the Jets or Giants, Marcell Reed would've been in that conversation.
And then, you know, that, as you alluded to, Jake, that USC-Oregon game, [lips smack] you never wanna see a hit that happen.
Uh, you don't wanna say it's just a concussion, but considering what it could've been, Jake, um, for... you know, you just hope that he makes a, you know, a quick and speedy recovery.
Yeah, and, and just, you know, following up on that point, Dylan Raiola coming in, nearly throwing for 300 yards off the bench.
I'm not saying there's a quarterback controversy or anything along those lines just yet, but I just go back to Dante Moore choosing to go back to school, and I, I just thought that's a classic example, watching this last night, why when your draft value was as high as it was for Moore, why you don't risk it if you have a chance to make $60 million potentially guaranteed-
