Today Vickie is joined by co-host Angela to explore the quick-service restaurants and snack options at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! They’re highlighting items such as the famous Totchos at Woody’s…
So a few weeks ago we started talking to you about the Magic Kingdom's quick serve and snacks, and I know that we had a trip port report in between, but we're coming back we- to you today with snacks and quick service at Hollywood Studios, and I'm gonna start with Docking Bay 7.
I think I pronounced that correctly.
The Disney Tourist Blog absolutely loves this place and they call it one of the closest things to perfection in Galaxy's Edge.
A big reason is that it manages to hit the sweet spot between great theming and genuinely good food.
And if you've never been in there, it is really cool to go in there even just to look around even if you don't eat.
I actually had just finished a meal and had a soda in there while somebody else ate.
The restaurant is designed like a working cargo hangar, complete with shipping crates, control panels, industrial details and even outdoor seating surrounded by the old marketplace, which is nice on a nice day, but on a s- steamy day I don't recommend the outside seating.
Just saying.
Uh, the food is what is really impressive.
The menu features some pretty adventurous dishes but the flavors are approachable, which means you should try them.
The favorite is the smoked kadu ribs.
They're supposed to be really tender and fla- flavorful and you get a really generous p- portion of them.
Uh, the blueberry corn muffin comes with them and is a surprisingly fantastic pairing according to the people that dined at this restaurant.
They also recommended plant-based options, the oi oi puff.
It's lighter [laughs] and it's a dessert.
Um, if you can't decide then I guess you should eat both.
The thing that makes Docking Bay 7 stand out is that it isn't just about Star Wars theming.
The food actually holds up to its own, so it's double indemnity if you're a Star Wars fan.
So when you're gonna be at Galaxy's Edge to see the Millennium Falcon or visit Oga's Cantina, then you might wanna build in some time to go to Docking Bay 7.
And of course we wanna encourage you to mobile order because that is the best way to do it.
Mobile order.
I think I've been there once.
