So there is a pretty big nightlife change that's
The Atlantic Dance Hall is ending its regular public operations.
And actually, it will by the time this airs, it will have already been ended.
It was ending on September 27th because on Thursday, October 1st, which is tomorrow, the space isn't disappearing completely, but it's going to be used for private events, weddings and special functions instead.
And the timing is definitely interesting because on October 1st, where Jelly Rolls used to be, Hurley Burley is opening up and Hurley Burley is basically stepping in with a very different kind of nightlife experience.
During the daytime, it's going to be family friendly with things like trivia and games.
And then at 9 p.m., it's going to switch over to a 21 and over live music venue.
There's also a walk-up window for select drinks plus small bites and cocktails inside.
So the Boardwalk is losing that one long-time nighttime option, but it's gaining something new.
And it kind of really feels like Disney is reshaping this whole Boardwalk entertainment lineup.
And I kind of wonder, will people miss Atlantic Dance Hall or will Hurley Burley fill that need for them? Who knows?
I'm a little sad that I never got to go to Jelly Roll before it closed, but I'm excited for Hurley
Burley.
So we still have the opportunity.
I understand it's not on Disney property anymore, but yeah, it's still a possibility we could do that.
