October 7 Three Years Later: Joel Griffith on Israel, Hamas, Antisemitism & America's Future

So we, uh, Mayor Mendhoni, uh, on the third anniversary, October 7th, I want you to start there on October 7th, what went on.

I know what went on, but I want you to explain it.

It's called an Israel killing of Hamas terrorists, a genocide.

Uh, and, and all this anti-Sem- Semitic terrorism continues around the world.

So talk a little bit about what's going on.

What we need to know-

Well, uh, well, a- a- as you know, uh, three years ago, almost to the day, Hamas, Hamas orchestrated, um, the, the deadliest attack on the Jewish people since the Holocaust.

Um, on that day alone, nearly 1,200 people lost their lives across communities across-

Um, in fact, I, I toured one of the small neighborhoods, uh, Kfar Azza, where Hamas first infiltrated, and, um, just the, the imagery of these homes that were ransacked, women who were raped, people that were just, uh, killed, taken hostage.

This was a brutal, brutal, uh, attack.

And, um, Israel, of course, has done its best to ensure that this type of attack never happens again.

And to see the mayor of New York City on the third anniversary of these brutal killings defame the Jewish people-

Oh, no

... defame Israelis, claiming that they're committing a genocide, nothing could be further from the truth.

If you look at how Israel has conducted itself in the years since it became independent in 1948, every possible action that can be taken to minimize the loss of innocent lives, Israel takes.

Prior to every attack on military installations and, and terrorist installations, Israel drops leaflets warning families to leave the premises in order to minimize the risk of a loss of life.

And sadly, these terrorist entities, Hamas entities, they set up their military personnel, their terrorists, they set them up in mosques, in hospitals, in neighborhoods, because the goal of Hamas, in addition to killing innocent Jewish people, the goal of Hamas is also to maximize the loss of civilian lives surrounding them, because they know that this will generate public support for Hamas itself.

And the mayor of New York City, he is an intelligent man.

He knows better.

He knows that when he says that Israel's committing genocide, he knows that he is telling an outrageous lie.

It's evil what, uh, that mayor is doing, and it's important for folks like you to continue to speak the truth.
