So on July thirtieth, there were estimates of sixty thousand [sighs] I, I don't, I don't know what to call them.
I, I'm not sure to call them immigrants.
Sixty thousand, um, citizens, mostly of Morocco That stormed the both land barrier but also the sea barrier of Spain.
Now, when you hear what's going on here, you think that they're going to mainland Spain.
They're actually not.
It's quite interesting.
And then if you go a little further east, um, into the Mediterranean Sea further, you will get to a place called Melilla.
And th- those are both protectorates.
Um, so too over here, even though they're on mainland Africa as a part, quote-unquote, of Morocco, they really are officially Spain.
how organized it was, if it was based on the Spanish Supreme Court ruling that allowed, um, said that we aren't gonna turn anyone back.
And nevertheless, for whatever the reason, they cr- they came into this territory called Ceuta, C-E-U-T-A, and they overwhelmed it.
And literally the amount of immigrants and invaders, call them what you want, whatever noun you want to use, was almost equal to the entire population [laughs] of the, of the mini territory there.
And, uh, rioting happened.
They ended up burning cars, and it was, uh, crazy.
Now, reports are that many of them, many/most of them are, have been sent back to Morocco.
Okay.
