Mets 2026 Season Recap & Airing of Grievances | We Gotta Believe

So Mets season over.

We're like, do we do a recap of this season? And it's like, it sucked.

There's our recap.

Kyle, I liked your idea.

The airing of the grievances.

So if you have any grievances from this season, that's going to basically be our season recap because I think we know all the things that fucking sucked about this season, and I'm sure they'll come up in the grievances.

So, Kevin, since you were out last week, you have the floor.

Give me a grievance that you have from the 2026 Mets season.

I mean, I got to start with Stearns.

It is – I mean – His press conference yesterday where he's just doing all his stern speak.

And what he's saying is true.

It's like, what do you say? An uncapped downside statement.

scenario

scenario which is true what he said is things went so south and it was so bad it's a way that you can't even stop the bleeding and we did honestly what's very interesting about that is it's almost like a financial thing like when you get it what happened with GameStop is kind of what happened with the Mets like when you are exposed and you can't stop it and that's what happened and you know I would give him a little bit of grace in that uh it was one of those scenarios where like everything that could go wrong did, but it also just happened last year.

We just went through that last year.

So it, it doesn't become like, Oh freak, bad luck.

It just becomes, this is the luck you have to operate within Stearns.

And, and part of that, my part of my grievance with him is that robotic ability.

what the fuck are you talking about? Speak.

Because again, what he's saying is not factually incorrect, but we're talking about a baseball team, man.

Like you're talking to baseball fans and baseball media start acting like it.

We're not sending a fucking rocket ship to the moon where you have to talk in technical scientific terms.

So the Stearns I'm smarter than you is my number one grievance.

And you know, I, I was just talking to the guys yesterday about, you know, Tucker, Diaz.

Like there were moves he made that were the smart play.
