Mike CurryGuestDaniel WeinbergHostOkay, so we had a very private conversation when we first spoke, and I want to ask you permission if we can open up and talk about, we'll go back to the beginning, what you experienced as a young boy and how that changed the path of your life forever.
I want to talk about this is that when you told me this story, whenever I hear these stories, I go back to my kids and I think how one's life, look at the trajectory of one's life.
and how vulnerable children are, especially when they're at a young age and how an incident that can happen to them or they're exposed to where they are completely vulnerable and obviously something happens to them not out of their choice can lead them on a completely different path of life.
So why don't you tell us what I see as the beginning of your journey on another path? And obviously, why this is a really interesting story to talk about your life journey is also it shows how no matter what sort of traumas, and I've had a lot of guests on the show that have experienced different traumas, and they're all not the same, but they are a form of trauma.
And we're all... understand that one experiences a trauma it has quite can have quite a negative effect on the individual so i find it so interesting that in there's one moment in time that can change everything so i'm building this up but um please explain to the listeners what happened to you as a young boy and how it affected you as a young boy and as you became a teenager and an adult male

yeah yeah absolutely and two things to kind of note with this particular subject yeah one being I think we all experience trauma to a different degree.

It's how we feel about it, how we deal with it or lack of dealing with it, how we internalize it.

Give you an example, one of my mentors, he shares about an experience he had as a young man to where his dad was helping him with the school project.

And so basically when I, and I just found this out on Saturday and I told you I was going to, wasn't sure how this is going to play out, but I actually got to approach my cousin who sexually abused me when I was about six or seven.
