Decisions Determine Destiny

Now, I want to share something with you that your decisions not only affect you, but they affect your family.

Amen.

Your decisions don't only affect you, they affect your family.

In the Old Testament, there's a story of Korah.

So Korah goes to Moses and Aaron and he's upset, he's mad.

He starts a rebellion against Moses because he goes to Moses and he says, who do you think you are that you're the only one that can hear from God? we can hear from God too.

And he rounded up 250 guys that all rebelled against Moses and Aaron.

And Moses, you know, Moses was a true leader because he could have gotten mad and he could have gotten upset at Korah.

But you know what he did? Instead of getting mad and upset, he interceded on behalf of those rebels to God.

You see, that's how you see a leader is because a leader cares about the sheep.

A leader cares about whether you're doing right or wrong.

Even when you're doing wrong, they care about you.

Even when you're doing wrong, they want to help you.

OK, even when you're rebelling right in their face, it's just like your kids.

How many have kids in here? Any of them act stupid? Yeah.

Any of them say something stupid to you? When they say, I hate you, you're like, man, boy, you are so dumb.

Because he doesn't know.

He doesn't know how hard you work to pay the bills.

I'm going off.

But my whole point in saying that is that Korah rebelled against Moses.

So God says, you know what, Moses, get out the way because I'm about to wipe all these people out.

I'm going to kill everybody is what God says.

But Moses and Aaron interceded on their behalf.

And here's what happened.

God, the earth opened up.
