Marbella Beaches and PJ's birthday weekend!

Euro Weekly News, a few articles from our collaborators.

There was a piece about wildfires.

There's been some horrendous fires in the Madrid area over the last couple of days.

Over 60,000 people were either told to evacuate or to stay indoors.

I read that and had to read it a couple of times because I'm like, so how did they decide whether you need to evacuate or stay where you are? Right.

It's not something to

make a joke out of, obviously.

Maybe it's to

do with the fumes and things as opposed to being very, very close.

Interestingly, I spoke to my sister today and she lives in Alicante, Torrevieja to be precise.

And she said they could smell it.

The wind direction from Madrid was blowing in their direction and they could smell the burning.

Oh my goodness, that's crazy.

So there was a lot of advice in the Euro Weekly News as to what to do if a fire was near you.

So it's worth this time of year reading up all these things, things like closing doors and windows and all that sort of stuff.

So yeah, do make sure you know what to do if the situation occurs.

Yeah, especially if you're more campo located as well.

Oh, yeah.

I mean, we're okay here.

We'll never be caught in that because we're not surrounded by any country or bush or that sort of thing here.

Bush, is that just an Australian word or can you use it here?

I think you just did.

Okay.

Carry on then.

Okay.
