But as I sort of alluded t- to there in the, in the opening tease, you know, the interesting thing about this ball game when I went back and watched a little bit more closely the Florida and Ole Miss game last week is that, well, based on how the game played out, Aaron Philo, the transfer quarterback for the Gators, really didn't have to prove much against Ole Miss.

The Gators didn't ask him to do, well, anything too complicated, in my opinion, and just did not face a lot of third and 10s, that type of thing, obvious passing situations.

And specifically, I'm not saying that the Florida Gators, Buster Faulkner, I'm not saying they can't beat Missouri with the pass.

I'm just saying they didn't prove it last week, despite an absolutely dominant fourth quarter against Ole Miss, a blowout victory.

Just felt like the Rebels', well, questionable defense and questionable pass defense in particular, really did just wear out in the fourth quarter.

And honestly, I don't think that Mississippi State and Florida are all that different of a task.

One of the reasons for that, well, at least things are maybe looking more optimistic for Langdon Kitchen and Darius Smith, the two Missouri edge rushers.

Really the top three along with, of course, Dayden Hopkins at this point, who's been one of the best edge rushers in the country so far.

I'll just say this, they're, they're still listed as questionable after the Thursday injury report and, and that's better than being listed as out.

That tells me that they at least practiced on a limited basis and have a shot to play on Saturday.
