Jumping right in, talking about the Grizzlies preseason finale this past Friday, taking on the Charlotte Hornets.

And as little as preseason means, and it does not mean a lot, It is nice to see the team play well in the preseason.

How does he score 19 points shooting four from 13 from the field overall? McCross has almost 30 minutes played, which is absolutely what I expect to see from him going into the season, roughly 30 minutes on the floor.

He got to the free throw line 10 times, and he made nine of those 10 free throw attempts.

I'm a big fan of Cam Boozer's play on that end, his aggression, getting to the basket, finding his way to the charity stripe.

But it was good to see Cedric Coward have a really strong showing, probably his best of the preseason, his best for last, 13 points, 5 of 8 overall from the field, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, no turnovers, a couple of steals.

Again, not knocking down threes, but scoring the ball in a variety of different ways.

It was good to watch guys get larger opportunities, right? Jalen Wells coming off the bench in this game.
