Many of our viewers and subscribers have been here with us since 2013 when we started talking about preparedness.

And there's been so many aspects of that that have been important to keep in mind over the years.

We wanted to kind of go back to our roots with you on that and maybe catch you fresh on your reentry from some relaxing time to that's often a time when people get perspective.

and one of the things i wanted to talk to you about is on the positive and constructive side of our lives how we can best take care of ourselves and take care of our loved ones and take care of our family's future and thought that you might have some reflections that you've recently gained to bring forth on that i know you uh it's often when people call me for the first time, they'll say, you don't know me, but I know you.

And I'll say, you know, and they'll say, well, I've been watching you for so long.

I know how you, how you react to things, how you think about things and appreciate faith-based attitude.

They obviously see we've got a significant portion of our family involved in Liberty and Finance.

And I tell people without fail, I knew I landed in the right place when both Rick Rule and Maurice Jackson from two different angles told me, go talk to Andy Shechtman.

And then when I was with you and we met up and met not only your dad, but also the dad of another colleague of yours whom you've worked with for generations.

And I thought, wow, as Stephen Covey says in The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, you know, if you want to know a person, look at their long-term relationship.

So that's been something that's been very reassuring to me that I landed in the right place.

well i just right just selling what i've seen yeah and what people have told me is you know it it means a lot to them to work with people that uh who have made family a priority for generations
so i often said working with my dad was the best and the worst part about my career uh i was joking really kind of tongue-in-cheek but it was a blessing and it's been a blessing and although he's been retired for a long time i talk to him every day and Of course, my wife, my sister, my son.
And not only that, the majority of all the brokers who work for me are people I've known my whole life.
They had all
had careers themselves that were very successful in things like private equity, Wall Street, real estate investments, bought and sold businesses, Wharton School of Business graduates, and all...
