The History of the Brisbane Bears - Know Your History with Shannon Gill (08.05.25)

Shannon Gill, welcome.

G'day, Gerard.

Yes, I was preparing something else.

And then Sunday night when I put on the TV and saw that old Guernsey in front of me, there could only be one thing for this week.

And that Guernsey was reviled in the day.

Yep.

I reckon it looks pretty good now.

It does.

So what's aged the best? Poor

old Robert

Fidgen from the grave.

Exactly.

Great friend of the Herald Sun.

We will mention that too.

Fidge, it was not that bad after all.

It was better than what we thought.

So, yeah.

And one thing watching it the other night, I really struggled.

I couldn't comprehend that we had the Gold Coast playing against...

The bears who played on the Gold Coast, it was really hard to work out.

Talk about Clash Jumpers.

I couldn't quite compute who was actually playing.

Yeah.

In the space-time continuum, that made no sense.

I had to turn it off other than it wasn't a great game.
