I wanna start with Jack Viney, Lauardo, because it was reported during the week that, um, he'd basically been told that Melbourne's gonna start playing more kids.

Um, I might even be more tempted to go with Mia Russo, uh, than Siena Girardi, who I th- I haven't conver- So she played, uh, a couple of seasons in the Waffle.

She's only 18.

It doesn't convert their scores to fan- their stats, sorry, to fantasy.

I think she maybe average, like, 10 or 11 touches and two tackles a game.

But I think it's slightly unfair if they've had a wretched run with injury and it's kind of derailed.

I mean, the back end of 2025, Ben was more than likely going to make his debut if he didn't get rubbed out for four weeks in the VFL through suspension.

But it's a big task up against the big two, but he did really well in saying that both games this season.

For Kai Abram, Jared Pertl has been having a good year in front of goal.

He's ranked fifth in the home and away for goals at the end of the home and away season and has played Frankston VFL in his junior when he was younger and, of course, played at Kerrang.

I think he was a premiership player at Kerrang, but was a Kai under-18 initially.

The other one that impressed me in the game last Saturday at Kings Park Seymour was young Jacob Watts, who's represented the league this season.

We know he's on Collingwood's VFL list as well.

Throughout the finals, he's been absolutely outstandingly good.

But also in the latter half of the year, I saw him back in round 17 as well when they, of course, Kai last met Shepparton, which is the prelim, of course, tomorrow.

But, yeah, really concerned for Kai, obviously, Jace Morgan.

But in comes Anthony Di Pasquale.

And we know, red hot at VFL level, we know what that form actually represents at GVL level.

My problem is, though, in the two games they've played this year, that Shepparton have been really good at restricting Kai Abram getting the ball inside forward 50.

It's a funny story.

When I was 11, I loved the Animal Cats, and my cousin who played for Mount Gambier, where I grew up, he asked me who my VFL team was, and I said I didn't have one.

And so I said, is there a team with a cat as an emblem? And he said, yeah, the Geelong Cats.

And I said, okay, I'll go for them.

Yeah.

Played VFL himself for Footscray back in the day.

But for what those players endured, I think they trailed by 13 points at three-quarter time.
