And not to sugar, sugarcoat anything, the game yesterday in Summer League against the Brooklyn Nets was absolutely ugly as the Sacramento Kings got bullied by the Nets.

But on the bright spot, spot, you had Darius Acuff, who shined in a, in a bounce back game after his bad outing against Washington, and Emmanuel Sharp also shined in a ugly blowout loss.

And yes, I know, I, I don't take the wins and losses seriously 'cause it doesn't matter in Summer League, but the Sacramento Kings got absolutely punked by the Brooklyn Nets from the opening tip.

Brooklyn, they were the more physical team, the more connected team, and the team that wanted it more.

It felt like in that game against Washington when the Wizards made that run in the sec- second quarter, this game yesterday felt the absolute, absolutely the same.

If this is Summer League, that's okay, but the effort and the toughness that Doug Christie and this staff has talked about should never be optional with this team.

Too many second chance opportunities, too many defensive breakdowns, and they got pushed around.

As Dylan Caldwell said it in the post game, they were soft, S-O-F-T, soft in nearly every aspect of this basketball game.

When a team establishes the level of ph- of physicality and you don't match it, that is what happened, and we saw it in that game against the Brooklyn Nets in the third Vegas Summer League game.
