#46 - Bill High: Dependently Wealthy 2026 Session 6

Thanks so much.

It's really good to be with you this morning.

And always fun to be with Steve.

I call him crazy man.

For obvious reasons.

So just a quick word.

What a great worship song.

A thousand generations.

You know, we don't think about that a lot.

If it's okay, by the way, I'd just like to spend a little bit of time talking to you.

Can we have a conversation? Okay, can we do that? So the idea of a thousand generations, you hear that song, and that's pie in the sky.

We think about it, but we don't really pay attention to what that really means.

So I'm diving in here a little bit.

I'll back up, but a thousand generations.

You know, America is getting ready to have its 250th anniversary.

Canada's what, 100th? So let's put that in perspective.

250 years, that's 10 generations.

Generations, 20, 25 years, depends on how you calculate it.

10 generations, so that means Canada's at four generations.

That's not good or bad, it's just the reality.

So the idea of generations, of 1,000 generations following Christ is God's dream, God's vision for each one of you.

Now, again, we don't appreciate this here in Canada, let alone the United States, but there are companies around the world that have actually been in business for 1,000 years, 1,500 years.

You can trace some families a bit longer.

There's one family in the Scriptures we can trace 2,500 years, 2,500 years.

So it's possible to do this thing called generational legacy.
