David Green

Michael Blanding read a story that chronicled Hobby Lobby Corporation's return of the Gilgamesh Dream Tablet artifact to Iraq, and when he read that, he became intrigued and began researching the Green family.

led by patriarch David Green, owner, founder, and CEO of Oklahoma City-based arts and crafts retailer Hobby Lobby.

Can we stop right here? How in the world? Elk City has a Hobby Lobby.

I've been inside Hobby Lobby.

They want to incorporate more religion into political life.

And so there's that.

The Greens or David Green is on record to say, no, I don't plan on reading the book.

I haven't read the book.

Don't despise the day of small beginnings.

This last Wednesday, I was interviewing David Green, the owner of Hobby Lobby, a billionaire.

Last year, I think they had like $5 billion profit in their company.

And I said, how did you get to where you are today? He said, that's a long story.

So that was the first thought.

And I actually have been friends with the Green family who own It's a Hobby Lobby for a long time and just admire their families so much.

They're just unbelievable, amazing.

Actually, David Green has a book out called The Legacy Life that's very powerful.

I know that y'all know about that.

We have a whole story.

If it was about money, I would be bored to death.

I want to say thank you to Mr. David Green.

We've had an opportunity to be together in a few settings.

So I've been preaching back to you your message.
