Let's rank the top 10 Point Guards in the NBA going into the 2026-2027 NBA season!
At number 10, and it took me, honestly, very long to do the, let's say 10 through six, 10 through six was very difficult.
So I might spend a little bit more time on 10 through six and some less time from five to one, because I think they're sort of self-explanatory as to why one through five is ranked the way they are in six through 10 that needed a little bit more explanation.
Now, You guys can probably assume a couple of the guys who I excluded off of this list, but let's talk about James Harden.
If you guys watched James Harden at all last year, especially in the playoffs, You can't help but wonder how much he truly has left.
The reason Cleveland brought James Harden in was to be their number three guy.
And last year, when he joined Cleveland, he was sort of unintentionally thrusted into the number two position right behind Donovan Mitchell.
So last year in the regular season, James Harden averaged 23.5 points, almost five rebounds, eight assists, a steal, And he shot 43% from the field and 37.5% from three.
Now, the same conversation happens over and over again when you talk about James Harden.
So you might be asking, why is James Harden even in this top 10? Then I still think James Harden is more than capable of taking over games.
And the way I sort of view these rankings are like, if these guys are a number one on a team, How high would I rank them? And I think James Harden should be in top 10.
Now, in case you guys are wondering who I picked, who the battle between 10 and 11 were, I can tell you guys, LaMelo Ball was excluded from my top 10.
