i i hope so let's put it that way i don't know i mean right now even talking about father looks to me like almost being disconnected from what's going on.

But Fauda is a kind of a surprise for me, for my partner, Lioraz.

It hit us by surprise, and thank God it worked.

And it definitely connected and related and affected my reality by all means.

This is what we did

for four

seasons, and this is what we're probably going to do in the fifth season.

And that fifth season takes on a completely new purpose after October the 7th, doesn't it? I mean, you must have had plans for Series 5, which are on the floor now.

They're ripped up.

You've got to start again.

In terms of reality, is it too close to people's reality?

I think October 7th is way too big.

It's way too crazy to even try to deal with the day specifically, with what happened on the day and what happened since then.

So I guess we'll need to pick our brain and you will need to wait and see what we're going to come up with.

We can't wait.

It is gripping.

It is magnificent drama.

And it comes from a country which has made yet another world young generation.

Just when the old folks complain about the younger generation lacking character, here comes the next proud Israeli and Jewish generation.

I think that at the end of the day, you know, October 7th did a lot of damage to the state of Israel and to the Jewish world.

You know, it's enough to mention the numbers, the crazy numbers that we had on October 7th and then since then the death of so many soldiers in Gaza.

I think it brought the anti-Semitism back to the surface and above the surface and hit all of us in the face.
