I'm your host, the great Brian Last, and here he is, the music lover himself, Mr. Jim Cornette.

[laughs] Everybody get up.

Everybody get down.

That was-- You, you sounded like-- That sounded like a movie soundtrack from a movie in the '70s where Richard Pryor was a preacher of a church.

That's what that sounded like.

That's kinda what I'm going for with my sound.

I really appreciate that.

It's 50 years old, and the background to a deceased person.

You, uh, you've got-- You've nailed it.

I think we can all agree movies were better then, so I'll take it.

Uh, well, I, you got me there, but that, at least it wasn't as sharp.

It was like normally you just take a, a sharpened spike and just run it right up my sphincter, but in this case, there was no sharp edges.

It was just like I was being pummeled lightly in the ribs by a toddler.

Well, that's not the sound I'm going for, so maybe you, uh, just are not ready yet for this new kinda music, but packed show, like I said.

Well, you could ca- you could call it pummel rock.

Hey, they got a, they got a rock of everything now.

They got the yacht rock.

You've seen that, right? The, the Doobie Brothers, and the Christopher Crosses, and the sailing, uh, sailing aways, and the things like that.

You could have pummel rock, where listening to this music is equivalent to being pummeled about the body with short blows by a toddler.

It's not gonna do a lot of damage, but over a period of time, it could get quite wearisome.

Again, I think you're misinterpreting, uh, the music here.

You may be, as I said before, not ready.

Your ears may not be ready to appreciate what's happening over here and what's happening-

You, you got, you got me there also again.

I may, I may never be ready.

I'm certainly not ready for that now.
