Another direction that this can go and where it's like people are very willing and capable and able of realizing that, oh, I hold power and I need to do something with that power that is going to feel like I am helping justice be enacted, that I am, you know, living in alignment with my values, like I'm thinking about.

A lot of the film, interestingly enough, is Robert Redford and Jane Fonda.

I mean, they're like... and the horse like there's like you know three characters in in most of the film at least the last half of the film it's mostly just two two human beings and a horse is where a lot of the the acting goes on and they're great in sort of in the way of like uh reminded me of uh bogart and hepburn in the african queens you know two oddly matched people in a dire situation that have to come to grips with each other and, and the, and the light, the situation that's going on.

That's what I wanted to bring up about why this movie holds up so well.

When he's asked to perform with a $12 million horse that he discovers is being doped to remain docile, he flees into the desert astride the beast in an act of defiance.

a story hungry female reporter gives chase.

And of course that's Jane Fonda and Robert Redford is the writer, um, in, in this particular show.

So it gives you an idea.

Yes, because they said, wow, if I can do this, what else I can do I didn't think I can do? Because a lot of kids at first, they had a lot of pushback because they said, well, that's too hard.

I remember teaching some children for Jane Fonda, the movie star, and And we had about three kids.

We started off with three kids.

And then it went from three to 103 because when the older kids saw the younger people saying, they said, wait a minute, that person can play.

I'm originally from Alabama.

I moved to Georgia because of this movie star.

Her name was Jane Fonda.

She wanted me to come to Atlanta.

So my mom told me, uh, that they were gonna be filming a movie nearby in Canyon City, and my old sixth grade teacher was going to be booking the local extras.

So I should contact him and myself and the two guys in the group with me went down and we auditioned and got hired as local extras So we worked as an extra for a few days, and then s- they came to the group of us and said, "Does anybody here know how to ride a horse?" And I was an accomplished horse person, so I said, "I do," and they said, "Come with me." And I ended up working as the stand-in on the show for Jane Fonda.

Oh.

And I even, they even dressed me in the same wardrobe as her.

Most of the, a lot of the stars would have their own stand-ins or, or whatever.

But, um, and from there I went into working as a production assistant and ultimately as a, as an AD.

I was kind of like the Jane Fonda spa lady kind of thing.

And then there was a 2008 fame competition where you wear a bathing suit.

So back then there was no, this is off the rack.

which is about three female employees of a sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical bigot find a way to turn the tables on him.

And those three women are Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin, and, of course, Dolly Parton.

Hell fuckin' yeah, let's go.
