Exodus 23:20-33

Exodus chapter twenty-three, beginning with verse twenty.

Now this section concludes the material that, that, uh, concerning various laws and their punishment that began way back in chapter twenty and verse twenty-two.

And, and in, in, in, in, in giving these laws here, we see that this section ends with a promise that as the, as the, uh, Israelites obey the Lord and enter the Promised Land, that God's gonna fight for them.

God's, God's gonna take care of them.

But a disobedient Israel should not expect the, uh, protection of the Lord, but in fact, should expect the discipline of the Lord.

Now, when we get to verse twenty, it's an interesting verse.
