Perizzite

I have heard them crying out because of the slave drivers and I'm concerned about their suffering.

So I've come down to rescue them from the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them up out of that land into a good and spacious land, a land flowing with milk and honey, the home of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites.

And now the cry of the Israelites has reached me, and I have seen the way the Egyptians are oppressing them.

God instructed the children of Israel in Deuteronomy 7 to wipe out the people who inhabited Canaan and not to save any of them, for instance.

And this is the quote, when the Lord your God brings you into the land to which you are coming to possess it, He will cast away many nations from before you, the Hittites, the Girgashites, the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations more numerous and powerful than you.

And the Lord your God will deliver them to you and you shall smite them.

You shall utterly destroy them.

Go and gather the elders of Israel together and say to them, the Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, appeared to me, saying, I have surely visited you and seen what is done to you in Egypt.

And I have said, I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt to the land of the Canaanites and the Hittites and the Amorites and the Perizzites and the Hivites and the Jebusites, to a land flowing with milk and honey.

You may not be a prophet.

But what has God called you to do for him during your lifetime? What is the best way to prepare yourself for this calling?

For my angel will go before you and bring you into the Amorites and the Hittites and the Perizzites and the Canaanites and the Hivites and the Jebusites, and I will cut them off.

Angels also play an important role in the book of Judges.

In Judges 2.1.4, the angel of the Lord goes up from Gilgal to Bochim and speaks to the Israelites about their disobedience and the consequences they would face.

This dream symbolizes the continuous connection between God and His people, with angels serving as messengers and agents of God.

In Exodus 23, 20-23, God promises to send an angel to guide and protect the Israelites as they journey to the Promised Land.
