It is Monday.

It is the final day of August.

Tomorrow is September.

And happy birthday to my sister Deb, by the way, too.

I wanted to get that out today.

Yes.

I've got three sisters and a brother.

I've got to hit them all there.

So happy birthday to Deb.

Today, but it is roster cut day.

We're told all the thoughts and minds and all this.

Derek and I have spent half the day already by commenting in one way or a fashion on that before we even hit the mic for the fan show.

PA, obviously, locking into all of that.

Some maybe, if not head scratchers, going, oh, okay, interesting.

Going with the young punter over there.

I hope he can hold okay, most people.

To Jack Strand and not only Atlanta, but the three other teams that have, quote, four quarterbacks on their roster right now, the active 53-man roster.

But it is an exciting time, Jerry, because now the second wave in the NFL of, you know, will trades be made? Will claims be made? Will players clear waivers? And then practice squads will fill up and speculation.

There might be some, you know, who knows what's going on behind the curtain on certain players because these aren't just players, right? These are entities, you know, they're all each person for the most part of their own little businesses, you know, that have contracts and dealings.

And, you know, you could try to force hands with agents.

So anyway, you know, so it just seemed like the last of the preseason NFL games came.

The roster cut down came.

Not pretty clean.

Let's go to that first game.

There's probably a lot of movement.

There's some things that happen between that.

Some quarterbacks didn't touch a ball at a preseason game and are ready for the post.

Other quarterbacks got some reps in.

It is that.

It's funny how people are scrambling for their fantasy drafts, you know, and getting it.
