Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks

I will say there were a couple of brands, not necessarily for me, but I think a lot of minor league fans out there, a couple of teams.

The Fargo Moorhead Redhawks did the Fargo Woodchippers.

based on the movie Fargo.

That was one where I saw so many people who were like, this is incredible.

Milwaukee Milkmen.

Fargo Moorhead Redhawks.

Lincoln Salt Dogs.

Sioux City Explorers.

It'll depend on James' schedule because he's a busy guy.

All right, and wanted to mention, too, the FM Redhawks' Chris Coast is stepping down after seven seasons as manager.

You can read more on that.

James has it posted at WDAYRadioNow.com. He'll have more coming up in his sports.

And, of course, we'll have Chris Coase coming on after you here in a little bit.

The news of Chris is retiring, stepping down from his managerial spot for the FM Redhawks.

So I don't know if you had seen that today.

My guess is you probably had.

You know, see Jurickson Profar above.

Um, and I was thinking, "Well, you know, at least he gets to pay the bills playing in Venezuela," and then I looked up where he's been, and he actually played this past year for the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks, and it's an indie team in the American Association of Professional Baseball.

And on, and I did the, like, you know, check the website, check the website, and where that came from, and the American Association of Professional Baseball has a little MLB logo in the corner that says, "Professional Partner League of MLB." I don't, I don't get how he can do that.

Is that, like, too many, like, once removed away from being cousins that it matters?

Right.

Happens even in American Association with the, uh, the Red Hawks.

Didn't even go to Chicago this year at, uh, at, at Impact Field.

So it happens in, in that a- as well.

But the same thing, Derek, when we talk about, uh, say, the summer.

You know, the Red Hawks are in the American Association, the Twins are a Major League Baseball team, but sometimes when the Twins do well, it heightens baseball around the region, thus the fervor for maybe the Red Hawks is even high.

And I'd imagine the same thing maybe correlates to college football.

Whether you're a Gopher fan or not, if the Gophers are winning, and, and just the aura of that is, is uplifting, which it is right now with that win out in Seattle against Washington.

That's Matt Gray.

You know, he was with the Fargo Redhawks, Fargo Warren.

Hey, they're managed by Chris Coast.

He won a World Series.
