Well, the name of this game is that we just share the okay things that we have observed or experienced, and we spread those out into the world.

Top of my list, 'cause it's fresh in my mind, is yesterday I did a poetry reading at, um, First Baptist Church in Asheville, uh, North Carolina, and, um, I haven't done many poetry readings in Baptist churches in, in, in the South, and so was not sure how it was gonna go down with my- ... you know, work and my potty mouth and my, um, politics.


... live there where, where it's cute and, you know, romantic and all that." And I was explaining about how I actually, uh, have grown to like it here.

But I am gonna dismantle white supremacist, capitalist patriarchy, and they all cheered in this First Baptist Asheville, um, church, and, uh, that was a delight for me.

And so, [chuckles] so to be in a room full of people, um, who, uh, seem to be on the same page as me, um, that was, that was actually very hopeful, very encouraging.

I love when people surprise you, and I love reminders that, uh, there's depth to people and experiences and places that we aren't expecting.
