They can be worth it, okay, but it really depends because the location where they sell property for one euro are towns that they have a really low real estate market.
And ev- if you have a real estate property there, it's really difficult to sell, okay? So if you want to do that, you can do that.
There are a lot of projects arou- around Italy, and they, mm, are, uh, starting new projects every year.
And, uh, you can do that, but you really have to figure out if it's worth it starting from the end.
So you have to calculate the value of the property you want to buy at the end.
So o- once you know that value, you can calculate, you can subtract what you have to spend to, uh, gain that value, I mean, in renovation, to understand if it's worth it.
Because sometimes you will spend more on renovation than the actual market value of the property, okay?
I'm speaking about that, uh, if you want to, okay, enjoy Italy, but also have an asset that have a certain value that you can resell in the future or maybe rent.
Instead, if, uh, your goal is just to buy a property and enjoy Italy, maybe buy a one euro house is the cheapest way you can do that.
Okay? If you're not interested in the asset you are buying, you just want to live there, that's really good.
I mean, other than one euro homes [laughs], what's an average budget that people need in order to afford property in Italy?
