Make sure to watch our... or listen to our episode from yesterday, I'm sorry, Sunday, where we did a predictions on all things Nintendo Direct and the Zelda Direct, so you can laugh at what we got wrong or what we got right.
[laughs] And then, um, we'll talk about the other o- other part here in a second, 'cause it started off with the Zelda's Lullaby, Ganondorf's theme, and then eventually, like, Link's theme as a hero, uh, with the orchestra kind of progressively growing and even to a choir to, uh, play the music in the intro, and I thought that was really cool.
Kinda weird, I, I thought it was kind of weird they didn't do that for, like, Pokemon, like going through certain themes, um, that are so core to the franchise.
But yeah, so that was a really cool intro which does lead into them announcing the 40th Anniversary Concert series, and that will be starting, uh, starting tomorrow, uh, prices, ticket prices will go up.
They're gonna be going through Europe, Japan, uh, Australia, North America, and the closest, um, closest one to us is in San Francisco, and I'm kind of bummed out 'cause I actually really wanted to go to this, but I'm not gonna go to San Francisco for just this.
They'll work.
They'll, I think they're gonna announce more dates.
I think we'll get one closer to us for sure.
But yeah-
...
I wouldn't go to San Fran all the way for it.
Yeah, I'm really hoping they announce a closer date, 'cause I would, I would really love to go to this, 'cause I thought it was...
I've seen, again, like I said the other day, just videos of orchestras playing video game soundtracks and, like, I don't know, it's just really cool.
Uh, so yeah, it was cool to see Koji Kondo, who is the godfather of video game music, come out and kind of just talk about the tour and all that.
They also talked about Nintendo Museum celebrating its 40th anniversary, and starting tomorrow, uh, tickets will have different prices, but also the stubs to go into the museum will be 40th anniversary Zelda themed, so your ticket stub's a collector's item.
Wow.
