You know, first of all, gameplays, impressions, that kind of thing.

And then my other channel, It's Amiibo, which I recently kind of brought back, has been focused on Xbox collecting, which I know is not something most people do.

But I think I've carved a nice little niche for myself there.

So if you're interested in like physical Xbox games, but also, I mean, I collect for Nintendo as well.

So, you know, something to keep in mind.

But then you also look at the physical conversation, which is a small footprint in the bigger ecosystem of gaming, but we saw with Wolverine and a few others, thanks to Linear Analytics and a few others, that it's a bigger heft than we thought like a 30 buy-in for physical and wolverine surprised me i expected it to be a smaller number and so now the conversation becomes oh well what is xbox going to do if playstation's all digital is xbox going to try and capture that back and then the idea of okay if everything's more expensive how do you press those disks, ship those disks.

What's a cost-effective way to use NFC chips, do little Amiibo things? Because Amiibo was the answer to get quick money for Nintendo at a time when the Wii U wasn't doing well, which I think is a really cool Kit and Crystal story that they shared.

so that creativity of how do we get people to buy a 12 to 1800 box not subsidized or sub you know do that do we offer physical games do we offer some sort of buy-in with uh an a la carte subscription service package and while gaming has become a more luxury hobby than it once was um to say nothing of all of our backgrounds that are well lit and have cool things in them they are going to have to find ways to keep people purchasing and buying in because people are being priced out now that it's so high and cost of living is so high not just united states we're talking worldwide um so again silver lining at the very least it'll be interesting to watch but it does make me look at the dista digital program differently than i did even two months ago suddenly i'm like you know what maybe i'm not that's not so bad because if i can just a digital i'll play anywhere game then it's on my ally x and i can merge my steam library in and have it in the same place there's something to that and so it's just so many questions are raised from these rising costs and the idea that sharma is willing to talk about the next hardware thing this early

I think it started with the Wii and it was on the Wii U also, but yeah, when we got to the Wii plus and minus, well also like in the Wii, you know, on the menu plus and minus was like flipping through channels, you know, where you'd go from like one thing to another, it would switch like, which I thought was, you know, went along with the idea of the remote and all that.

But yeah, and I think another thing that was funny was that we were trying to figure out how you would scan Amiibo on it.

Because we both thought that you would put the Amiibo on the screen of the Switch, and that's how it would read it.

And we didn't even think about using the controllers or whatever.

And when I thought it was funny, it was my idea.

I thought that the connector between the two joy cons would be what would read the Amiibo, the plastic fucking thing.

That's like nothing.

You know, I thought that would be instead of just, you know, touching the joy stick or whatever.

That and when they started to change the rules on what Amiibos could be and people were still collecting them and people just had like boxes of cereal on their shelves forever.
