Catch the Rhythm Ride.

Weekdays from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. with DJ Maestro.

Exclusively on IRE 98, Bermuda's feel-good station.

And now, it's time for the IRE 98 Fun Fact of the Morning.

Something you didn't know you needed to know.

Now, I might butcher this, but I thought that this was the name.

So, if you don't know, Los Angeles' entire name, El Pueblo de Nuestra Señora Lorena de Los Angeles de Porzioncula.

I can't speak Spanish.

You love it, okay? But I didn't know it translates to the town of Our Lady, the Queen of the Angels of Porzioncula.

Over time, people shortened it to simply Los Angeles.

Okay.

But the entire name, it was, you know, obviously Spanish Saddler's Fund.

Los

Angeles in 1781.

This is one of those things where

I'm just going to listen.

Yeah, I mean, what can

you...

And I'm going to shorten it even more.

Big shout out to L.A.

They shortened it to Los Angeles.

But

that is the full name.

I'm sorry.

Uncle T's going with L.A. this morning.
