I'm Already Scared with Dr. Adam

We visit the American south to hear Zak obsess about voodoo for an entire episode. Some pretty great evidence in this one! Plus, the boys go to a crawfish restaurant and act like idiots. Email me at…
Let's talk about ghost stuff, including first a scary story from listener Jen.
Hi, Jen.
Thank you so much for listening to the podcast.
I appreciate you.
She emailed me a while back.
I'm still getting through a backlog of spooky stories, which is great, because that means I've got enough material to last me a while.
At one point, I ran out, but I haven't had that problem since, which is good.
So feel free to send me your spooky stories if you have them, already scaredpod@gmail.com. Make sure and tell me that it's okay to talk about it on the podcast though, or I won't share it.
So from Jen, she says, "From 2000 to 2009, I lived in a 100-year-old house in a Baltimore historic district.
It had some interesting features to include a servant's staircase and a walk-up attic.
It was very common for the attic door to rattle, though there was no draft or reason for this to happen.
Although it was unsettling at first, it just became part of the house to me.
I simply avoided going up to the attic at night and when my husband wasn't home.
One afternoon, I was working on the computer in the second floor guest room while my toddlers napped across the hall.
I began to hear a man's voice outside.
I thought perhaps my neighbor had come home in the middle of the day from work and was on his cellphone in the driveway.
After a while, I realized that he had been talking for a long time and that the man's voice sounded agitated.
I tuned in and realized he wasn't stopping to listen as in a conversation.
He was speaking continuously in an agitated tone, and I realized I couldn't make out a single word of what he was saying.
I went to the window that overlooked my neighbor's driveway, and there was no one there.
I went to the other window and still saw no one.
I went back to the first window as the talking continued because I realized I could hear the man's voice better there.
As I stood there, I noticed that the voice wasn't coming from outside.
It seemed to be coming from behind the closet door right next to the window.
My heart raced as I opened the closet door, but the man's voice stopped immediately.
