Brian and Chris hop on and catch up on all of the Big Labor Day Weekend racing from around the area. Some f bombs to kick the weekend off and probably a few to finish it up as racing can be that way…
Chris GoodakerHostThey ran the Mars race.
Super late model, 5K in the wind, twin 25s, which was originally scheduled back, shit, I think in like
Yeah.
And the highlight of the night, because I think there were some other highlights this weekend.
But the highlight of the night was Alan Provenzano picking up the stock car feature win at the end of the night and giving a world-class interview, if you will,
in Victory
Lane where he, quote, said, had to drive the wheels off it because the officials fucked me in the heat race.
And that is how the Labor Day race weekend kicked off.
Plenty of action.
all the way across the board every track we went to i mean which i guess is only two tracks every track we watched or went to
yes and uh so the the rest of the night went to uh actually ryan unziger winning the first and second late model feature and ray bollinger picking up the modified win there was a lot of uh disgruntled racers a
lot
of character in the
track if you will
yeah so uh i believe steven brooks posted somebody hide the water truck keys one of those nights but uh it's still exciting to see lasalle back you know they were a once gone racetrack now back hosting events hosting racing and that's what we should kind of be excited about, you know, certainly we don't want to tear cars up, you know, just racing because the character of the track is bad.
You know, it's a lot
by all means necessary, you know, we, we need race tracks to, to survive, you know, and good to see them back.
Good to see them getting races in without weather being an issue this time.
Right.
