Um, I think was a bit of a flop when it came out, but has built a bit, a more of a cultural, a cult, uh, following since.
[laughs] Um, I wish it had a little more to say, or I wish the, the, the reality were a little more heightened.
Like, the things to be just a little bit, like, fantastical or cart- but slightly cartoony perhaps with the really bright color scheme that goes along with this.
Uh, but then it, it just kinda gets to the end, and you're like, "Oh, that's it? Okay." [laughs]
The director actually refers to this movie as being in between on the spectrum of Heathers and Mean Girls, and I think that's really true for better and for worse.
It doesn't quite have all of the edge that Heathers, or at least I guess the commitment to its edge.
I feel as though this movie starts out quite dark, and then it's almost as though it lifts its pedal off the gas by the end.
