Assistant *to* the Podcast Hosts

I, I will have to say because of the whirlwind of the off-season that we've had, coaching staff changes, they'll be keeping the assistants, now new assistants, now assistant to the men's hockey coach, which we'll definitely talk about.

Um, not an assistant hockey coach, which, um, [chuckles] I got a little bit of a funny story.

But, um, you know, I feel bad because I've had to push back my From the Booth segment that I wanted to kind of debut talking to some announcers, KVSC announcers of the past and, and kind of where they are and how some of that, some of, some of that aspect.

So I don't...

Like, I feel I, I really enjoy, like, you know, kind of how the sausage is made and how that process kind of goes about behind the scenes, how you get ready for things.

Um, just really those types of ins and outs is kind of fascinating to me, and I want to get an announcer's view of that.

Uh, and I, I feel like those will be kind of some interesting topics of people you don't normally hear, uh, from on that side of it.

And, uh, yeah, I've actually, you know, got up some kind of interesting topics and questions that I'm kind of, kind of curious about, and the fact that we haven't been able to, to line that up because of all the news that has been going on, and it's been a, it's been a fascinating off-season, to say the least.

So, so I do apologize, um, that I'm, you know, kind of keeping some, uh, people on read when it comes to that.

But, uh, just know that I promise you'll, you'll be on the show.

One I would assume would be on that list of, of bumped guests, uh, would be one Alex Fern.

Cloud State men's Huskies, John Hirschfeld played, uh, in Lincoln, uh, where Alex Fern is, uh, gracing those radio announcer, uh, airwaves, uh, doing play-by-play for the Lincoln Stars.

This, uh, move to get Hirschfeld, who St.

Cloud area hockey fans probably are familiar with that name because he was a, uh, star for St.

Cloud Cathedral, won a state title with the Crusaders, uh, in the '23-'24 season.

Scored the winning goal, I believe, in, in the championship game.

Uh, correct me if I'm wrong on that.
