Episode 990: The Knicks Already Miss Mitchell Robinson

But yeah, the Celtics have...

A different narrative around their front court this year.

Last year, coming into the season, there was a lot of questions.

How well is Nimi going to hold up? Is Luka Garza even an NBA player? At this point last year, it truly was a question.

We didn't know the answer to it yet.

Now, not only are those guys both more established, more proven, but you have Mitchell Robinson in the mix as well.

So...

You've got three solid players.

You still have Amari, and then you have Kristen Ack coming in as a rookie who all should be able to help you at some point of this season.

And you know the Mitchell Robinson addition is a big one because of how pretty – broken up about it.

The, the Knicks are about actually losing him.

So three different Knicks were asked about Mitchell Robinson on their media day this week.

And they all had things to say along the very same line.

Carl town said that hurt.

I was very surprised.

I was surprised that Mitch wasn't going to be back here with us.

I think all of us were.

So it was a surprise to everybody.

I thought something would get done there.

Josh Hart said, I was heartbroken with that one.

That's one of my guys.

I love him.

Obviously he was drafted here, gave his heart to the city.

That's why people haven't repeated his champions for the last eight years because of that second apron in the CBA, obviously extremely gutted when he left, but I wish him well, but the four times we play them, but I got to love him.

He helped us win a championship and he should always be loved here.
