Google's Ch-Ch-Changes Across Vacation Rental Search, Agents & More!

In the life of the company, we're talking about one of the most dominant, you know, marketing platforms on the planet.

We thought we'd do, this is a bit of a Google grab bag or Google update, which is not, I mean, there has been a Google update recently, but that's not really the sole topic of today.

It's just kind of changes in Google and changes in Google that we find notable, newsworthy, interesting.

Maybe they're going to end up impacting you.

Some of these things are like to be determined or we're going to figure out where they head over the next 90 days, 180 days, one year, that sort of thing.

And then some of these things are stuff that's already happened, news and events and some other layers here.

And so it's a bit of a grab bag.

I don't know.

I think let's do with the reasonably recent notable news here.

So this is something that we had started back.

I think we can touch on this one quicker.

This is something we started talking about back a year ago, two years ago.

I actually looked in the article I could find when this all got ruled out.

But It was Google, I mean, the United States government saying, yeah, Google, you're a monopoly.

We've got to stop this.

We've got to break this apart.

The search is, you control everything.

And I remember reading through pre-AI and just thinking, ooh, this is good.

This is interesting.

I think when we screenshotted the table of contents, I'd said, oh, there's a dozen topics we can talk about.

And I don't know how many of them we use, but I digress.

But all that fun stuff...

It came to fruition on the 2nd, September 2nd, that nobody's going to be held accountable.

We're not going to need to actually sell off the ad business.
