Rome and Florence. The Amalfi Coast and Cinque Terre. Lake Como and Lake Maggiore. The Alps and the Dolomites. Tuscany and Sicily. Choosing where to spend your time in the amazing country of Italy is…
And I'm so excited for today's episode because it's finally time for another destination feature episode.
So this is one of those that you might wanna be taking notes or have open a sticky note thing on your phone to jot something down really quick as I say stuff, because yeah, just a lot of good info coming your way.
So one thing I wanna point out is moving forward, We are going to be doing these destination feature episodes a little bit differently than I've done in the past.
In the past, I was structuring them in a way that I would focus on the destination on the whole and whether or not this is a fit for your travel style.
So I would give you the rundown of what a vacation to that destination could look like.
And then I would break down the four different pieces of your travel style and talk through how each of the pieces either fit or didn't really fit with that particular destination.
But what I have come up against is finding plenty of destinations that are so diverse that it's just hard to say that like...
And it's also hard to say like these are the travel styles that it would be a match for because in many cases, some of these destinations could be a match for all travel styles.
And I mean like destinations like Alaska and Iceland and New Zealand and Costa Rica.
These were all previous destination feature episodes that we've done on the podcast.
So scroll back and listen to those if you haven't and if those destinations sound appealing to you.
Because I have great information for you on those episodes, but those destinations, they do tend to be a better match for certain travel styles.
And I would even say that certain travel styles, like if you are someone who really loves wandering around an old city and going to museums and doing sightseeing of like old historic landmarks, like I would probably say, you know what, Alaska may not be the best fit for you or New Zealand is great, but that's not exactly the best fit.
And of course, like what we want out of a vacation, that can change with every trip and with every season of life, our travel styles can change.
But if you knew that you were craving, you know, wandering around an old city on historic sites and you're like, maybe I should go to New Zealand, I would probably be a hard no to that because that's not the experience you would get.
So I do think that there are certain destinations that are a little more straightforward and black and white and a little more like, well, this is how it's going to be.
And so when we have destinations that have a variety of landscapes and geography and climate, then that lends itself to a very diverse experience all in one country.
