Well, I had the unusual experience of being in northern Italy on 9-11.

My husband and I had just arrived there to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary and and we were in this Cinque Terre at Rio Maggiore where we were going to stay, and as we went up the hill, we heard a lot of noise coming out of this pub, so we went over to investigate, and we saw the second plane hit the tower.
