Taking a Holiday Without Your Clinic Falling Apart | GYC Podcast 380

Six weeks overseas, three resignations while away, and a team of 30 holding the fort - Bec Clare is back on the pod and she's got a lot to share. In this episode of the Grow Your Clinic podcast, Ben Lynch sits down with Bec Clare and Jack O'Brien to unpack what it actually takes to step away from your clinic without everything falling apart. Bec shares how she prepares her team in the week before leave so they're already leading before she even boards the plane, how she set up a single WhatsApp channel as her only point of contact while away, and how she stayed calm - mostly - when three resignations landed in quick succession while she was sitting poolside in Vietnam. Jack adds his NIFO principle - nose in, fingers out - and Ben shares why he doesn't have Slack on his phone at all.  Whether you're dreaming of a week off or trying to build toward something bigger, this episode gives you a practical, honest roadmap for getting there. **In This Episode You'll Learn:** ✈️ How to prepare your team in the week before you leave so they're already leading 📱 Bec's WhatsApp channel approach - the one contact rule that gives her genuine peace of mind 😤 How Bec stayed calm when three resignations landed while she was overseas 🔄 The two R's framework for handling resignations - retain or risk? 🌱 Why starting with long weekends is the smartest way to build toward bigger leave 💡 Why taking a holiday is one of the best things you can do for your business Need to systemise your clinic?
