Opportunity International

I just didn't really have a clue.

So number of things from going down to Managua, Nicaragua with Opportunity International on a microfinance trip to deciding to go to business school to just get a bigger aperture on the world, which I didn't like school.

So that was actually a sacrifice that I felt like I was I was leaning into to ultimately, I think, grabbing on to a model of cultural engagement.

that I would consider myself extremely formed by a conference in the 2009 to 2011 era for me called Q Ideas.

I struggle with this idea of like making my generosity public.

But just today, just today, I got to experience some of the fruit of that, setting up this clinic owner on a regular giving program to a wonderful charity, Opportunity International, who support Christian women starting businesses in Indonesia.

uh it's given through the local church and it's it's small businesses establishing kingdom principles in women sets you know families free it's it's we've been able to help clinics sponsor kids through compassion and release children in jesus name from poverty and fund red frogs opportunities you know like so so men stand on your generosity look jack i mean there's When we choose to be a generous man and make

generous plans, it makes a way for us.

I watched it in the eyes of women in Nicaragua in 2017.

We were there with Opportunity International.

They had a great development program, and then there were some entrepreneurs who'd come alongside the Opportunity work in Nicaragua and said, actually, let's invest in some businesses too.

And so we spent the first part of the morning visiting opportunities.
