James FetzerGuestVicky DavisHostCasey WhelanGuestNice to have you with us once again here on this day after the 25th anniversary of September 11th, 2001.
I decided to sub our regular open with the song that started off as a poem I penned in the days after 9-11 when the police state was unfolding around us.
And we're being told all this war stuff going on, it's all designed, it's all for your freedom.
I'm thinking of that song, Eve of Destruction, and how relevant it is after all these years, all these decades later.
It never leads to a good place, and here we are now having the Iran war now escalated.
And now Trump's taken over after promising that he wouldn't get us into another war, promising no more regime change wars, railing against it on the campaign trail, and yet...
So as we approach midterms, what do we have to look forward to? What do we have to look forward to? My concern here is with the increasing desperation of the present administration and the complete flippancy with which he deals with his constituents, the voting public.
I'm not unconvinced that there won't be another false flag orchestrated by this administration between now and November.
