Regaining Lost Dominion4:15 – 14:34

4:15

So let us consider five reasons why Christ became flesh.

4:19

My first point really is this.

4:20

Five reasons why Christ became flesh.

4:22

And then the second point is going to be how we respond to this.

4:26

So five reasons why Christ became flesh.

4:28

The first reason is this.

4:30

Christ became flesh to regain lost dominion.

4:34

I want to share some things with you this morning that maybe you've not thought about, but I want you to think about it this morning.

4:40

Look at verse 6.

4:41

It says here, But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? Or the son of man, that thou visitest him? Thou madest him, that's man, a little lower than the angels.

4:54

Thou crownest him with glory and honor, and didst set him, look what it says here, set him over the work of Now what does that mean? It means that God created the world in six days.

5:10

We know that.

5:11

And on the sixth day, God created man.

5:14

God created the mammals.

5:16

God created all the animal kingdom.

5:18

But God had not yet created man.

5:20

Man is not a mammal.

5:22

Man is not an animal.

5:23

Man is man.

5:23

Man is made in the image of God.

5:25

The scientists who wrote those books about man being a mammal are wrong.

5:29

We're not mammals.

5:31

We're man made in the image of God.

5:33

We're distinct.

5:35

We have intellect.
